For all NYC Juniors, the SAT will be free the first time you take it. After that you have to register for it. The standard registration fee for the SAT is $68 after the first time, with an additional late registration fee of $38. There is also a cancellation fee: $34 (before deadline) and $44 (after deadline).
There are two upcoming dates to take the SAT:
- May 2, 2026: Registration Deadline – Apr. 17, 2026
- June 6, 2026: Registration Deadline – May 22, 2026
