It is with great pride that I announce a recent achievement from one of our very own Park Slope Collegiate peers. Senior  Autumn Wynn’s talent and profound love for writing has been recognized by the esteemed organization PBS. The award was in partnership with the PBS Student Reporting Labs as they celebrate this year’s 20 up-and-coming storytellers under the age of 20. 

Autumn shared that this had come to a surprise to her as she didn’t realize that the organization she was working with had been following her work so closely. 

In her view, this was a much-needed push. She wants to pursue a major in communications which can be a slightly challenging field to land a steady job. But already she has made such a splash in the journalism world as she has gained quite a lot of real world experience throughout her journey as a young writer. She’s been able to find work with The Bell, Chalk beat, Gothamist, and PBS Student Reporting Labs. 

These accomplishments don’t only highlight Miss Wynn’s Dedication to her craft, but also her overwhelming success and capability. She demonstrates talent within our community.
