Valentine’s Day has finally arrived! The time of making a special moment has arrived, the moment you could make someone genuinely smile. Every year February 14th is a memorable day around the world for all ages. No matter if you’re riding solo or you have a special person beside you to enjoy the day with, when you’re asked what you did for your last Valentines Day you definitely won’t forget.
Truth is, Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be about making the best moment for yourself or someone. Sometimes it’s the conversations sharing and expressing with full comfort, the laughter between jokes and the feeling of connection. So before you roll your eyes and set your plans for Valentines, how about maybe expanding your mindset, ask yourself : how could I be thoughtful?
For starters doing something that is simple but intentional like watching a specific movie you both have wanted to see. Cooking or baking a meal together. Even in this cold weather walking together could be the most special without any distractions with the weather supposed to be 37 degrees, the highest in the week that could be the right decision to connect further with your special Valentine.
You could also support our Student Government’s beautiful Valentines Day Candy Gram for only $2, or the symbol of care $2 Artificial Red flowers, or even admirable $3 Glitter Flowers only being sold this week! Go to room 440 to purchase your gift & extra fee for Student Government members to deliver to the person’s room.
Maybe you’d rather go big for your Valentine. Buying something outstanding like a bouquet of roses, a dinner date at a beautiful restaurant, or even a gift of something they’ve been talking about for a while.
Whatever you choose, consider how your decision will make another person’s feelings about you change for better or hopefully not for worse, memories are made everyday in so many ways. Make the best memories you can on one of the most thoughtful days. Choose something memorable, something loving, something that makes you smile just as much as your Valentine.
