The PSAL season has now come to end and it’s time to reflect on how our school, John Jay Campus, performed. The Varsity basketball team finished the season with a record of 8 wins and 6 losses, earning a spot in the 3A city playoffs. Unfortunately, they lost in the first round to the #6 seed Graphics Campus, 61-48. Although they didn’t advance far, it was a memorable season. Seniors Dreshawn Peek and Stephon Kennedy had an amazing season, Dreshawn with 22.86 points per game and Stephon with 21.86. In the end, the 2025-2026 Boys varsity season was a season in which although they fell short, it was a season to remember. It was full of hard work, and memorable moments.
