As New York City is the city that never sleeps, there’s a lot going on constantly so let’s go over some things you might have missed this week.

RACE TO BE MAYOR
We are just 2 weeks out from Election Day (Nov. 4). The candidates are Former Governor of New York City, Andrew Cuomo, Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa, and finally young prominent politician Zohran Mamdani. After the final debate on the 22nd, the polls are showing who the front runner might be and who might need to start looking for new jobs. SKY-HIGH UPDATES
Look out for a brand new city “skyline-redefining” skyscraper just recently opened by J.P. Morgan. It’s set to be their new headquarters;the Financial powerhouse is at 270 Park Ave in Manhattan. The 70-story tall HQ cost an astonishing $3 billion. The price tag is due to the building’s attempt at Eco-sustainability and bringing more carbon return. CASHING IN ON CASINOS
If you’re a resident of Queens, a new attraction is coming your way. Steve Cohen (owner of the New York Mets) is planning to build a casino near Citi Field. Cohen’s $8 billion proposal has advanced and it looks to be a house for “thousands of jobs,” per Queens state senator. John Liu (D-Queens).
