John Jay Football Enters First Round of Playoffs

John Jay aims to make it past the first round of the playoffs but first they need to make it past the James Madison Knights today, Nov. 14, at 2 p.m. The James Madison Knights are 5-3 this season and are John Jay’s first match up for this play-off run. The team is scorching hot heading into the game, winning 5 in a row including 3 shutout performances. John Jay aims to take down the former 4a team in fashionable style, pay attention for some players we interviewed: David Payne #6, Trey Young #27, Nathius Hibbert #0.

Mr. DeLeon is a senior here at Park Slope Collegiate. He plays on the baseball team, and he loves to listen to music! Some of his favorite artists are Morgan Wallen and Young Thug to name a few. He will be covering the sports section alongside Enzo Furlani.

Enzo Furlani, Reporter

Mr. Furlani is a junior at Park Slope Collegiate and is a part of the track and field team. He hold the schools all-time shot put record and hopes to use his talents in the NCAA. Mr. Furlani likes to spend his time with friends and play gold, and he is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
